We had 2 parties out Fly Fishing during the month of March.

Catch of the Month

2 Pike largest weight of 6Ib.

“This must be the biggest pike so far!!. This Pike was 1.05m long and 9.80 kg weight (21lb)”.

Sławomir's 21lb pike

“A fine looking pike caught on Sun 22nd August. It’s weight was 10 ¾ lb. Many thanks for starting fishing on the loch. I have passed your number on to a few pike anglers who are very keen to come and use your facilities. I hope to come back and fish the Loch again soon”.

Steven's 10 ¾lb pike

“We went up the Loch to the top end at Glengyle. I caught 10 or 11 first rate brown trout up to about 1.25 lbs in weight. My Dad caught 3 and released four. I also caught a pike in the weed beds at Glengyle which was about 10lbs. It was almost flat calm the whole day. The flies were Kate McLaren and bibio. Thanks for a great day”.
